






Noted model-actor and small screen’s Captain Vyom has now turned ‘Iron Man’. Yes, we are talking about none other than the 90s heartthrob Milind Soman, who recently added another feather to his cap.
The actor, who will turn 50 this year, has won the ‘Ironman’ title at the prestigious triathlon organised by the World Triathlon Corporation in Zurich, Switzerland. The competition which saw the participation of over 2000 people including 7 Indians was held on July 19.
The triathlon, considered as the world’s toughest race includes a 3.8 km swim, 180.2 km cycle ride and 42.2 km run. It had to be completed within 16 hours for a contestant to be titled ‘The Ironman’. Milind completed the race in 15 hours and 19 minutes.
Talking to the Indian Express newspaper on phone from Zurich, Soman said that he prepared really well for the race and it was a great experience.
“The challenge was to complete the cycling segment in less than eight hours since it is a new activity for me and there was a cut-off time to adhere to,” he told the English daily.
The actor also took to social media platform Facebook to share the good news with his fans. He posted: Captain Vyom turned Ironman…. 💪 💪 💪
